The place is very nice. The desserts taste good, but their kunefe is absolutely amazing! This is the best place to eat kunefe in Melbourne! Loved their borek and pide. There's plenty of seating available. They didn't take long to serve us. Will not miss a chance in returning. Highly recommend!

An Absolute Hidden Gem! I stumbled upon Tez Cafe completely by chance, and I'm so glad I did. This place is a true hidden gem in Thornbury that not enough people know about! From the outside, it's a humble spot, but the flavors inside are anything but. I ordered one of their kofta meals, and it was absolutely heavenly. The kofta was perfectly seasoned, incredibly juicy, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tasted authentic and was packed with flavor – easily some of the best I've had in Melbourne. It's clear they put a lot of care and tradition into their cooking. The service was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for genuinely great Turkish food, especially an amazing kofta, you absolutely have to give this place a try. Don't let its quiet exterior fool you; this is a top-tier spot! I'll be back again and again.

We stopped by Tez Cafe for coffee and decided to try their künefe and our all-time favourite pistachio baklava. Both were absolutely amazing! The künefe was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, cheesy, and sweet on the inside — just like in Turkey. The pistachio dolama was rich and full of flavour, and the coffee matched perfectly. Such a cozy place with warm vibes and authentic Turkish desserts. Highly recommend!

What a treat to discover Tez Cafe today. I parked in front to go to a neighboring business but was hungry so I thought I would have a look at the menu. The service was great, as a vegetarian I got recommended the Stuffed Capsicum. It came out fast and was delicious! The side salad was a bonus, fresh and tangy with lots of flavour but not too much dressing. The coffee was great, and the atmosphere is lovely, I even liked the music. I can't wait to come back again and try their famous Kunefe and Baklava.
